Ash is part of squad 3, the berserkers, and Marin is part of the Geek squad. loved reading about how these two who are so different are perfect for each other.
For the first two books the SJW signalling was tolerable, but relatively unobtrusive. but he goes full Orange Man Bad in this one. He can’t go a paragraph without mentioning the evils of racism, sexism, capitalism, and the police. Did I mention that Orange Man bad is the primary villain ??? Anyway, I’m done with..
Loved the humor in this book! Jeffery was a little stronger at conveying the humor than Emily, but that may just have been how the story was written.Overall it was highly entertaining and I laughed out loud several times.
I really enjoyed this audio book. I look forward to hearing more from this author. The narrator did a good job and it will be nice to hear more from him.
Can a a story be both smart and dumb? If so this is one of those. So far it’s caused me to laugh out loud at work, at home after my family was all asleep, and once in the middle of a hospital waiting room. The humor reminded me of the Deadpool movies or early..
Initially not what I expected but work the time it took it get into it. And it may just be me but I find it funny in a way but exciting in another way that the author has references and connections with his other works.
I don’t know if this guy has ever met a woman but he sure can’t write one. But the rest is pretty good shoot em up fun.
I travel for work and feel like I hit the lottery when I came across these books…First off Jeffrey Kafer really brings them to life! Add to that, great action, humor and the fact that it is easy to immerse yourself in their world, I can’t endorse enough, that the entire series needs to be..
I loved all of the Solar Clipper stories and the progression of Ismael, but this last one seemed to drag on far too long, and almost seemed like the author was searching for a plot to end the series. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the great storytelling from the early books in the series.
