This book takes the standard space invasion trope and turns it on its head with graphic imagery, hilarious imagery, and fast-paced dialogue. Completely and totally over the top, and completely and totally entertaining.

The premise was was done great but the chacthers seemed to straight in ideas that move from one action yo the next with no real experience in difference that that battle scenes where just reacts and old getting the new monsters to fight kept in original for each one.

I am a great fan of Nathan Lowell’s works and this one delivers. These stories are easy to read and listen to. A good blend of storytelling that feels like familiar old friends, with just enough mystery to move us forward without going over the top.

Cringeworthy, non-immersive, stupid.

Non-immersive, poor writing.. the story is riddled with 20th century cliches despite taking place in the far future. Author also can’t help but shoehorn his cringeworthy fad political beliefs into the story to the point it beggers belief. It’s immature writing and lacks all nuance. Skip this. Narrator does a good job, though.
