This is very much a visceral body horror story in a domestic setting. Clive Barker – who’s surprisingly eloquent, I might add – spares no detail. The first time a Cenobite spoke it startled me a little. Would recommend.

Ever watched a movie where they just kept having sequel after sequel, that should have ended after the first couple of movies? This is what describes this series of books in part 2. Giving up on this series it just doesn’t have the same feel as the earlier books.
