Liked the first book – this one not so much.

This might be a good book if you like unrealistic horror stories with creepy mutants. It was too unbelievable for me. More fantasy than science fiction to me. I like space science fiction that seems like it could possibly really happen. This one was just too far out for me.

This is a fun book to just relax and listen to. There are some good action scenes and funny commentary, with a plot that moves well. This is not nearly as funny as the Merciless series, which is hilarious at times, but it is still an enjoyable listen.

A wonderful continuation of the first series. Keep writing SciFi. The biggest wish is that Mr. Lowell had narrated it himself. Mr. Kafer did amazingly, but I got spoiled with The Trader’s Tales and Mr. Lowell voicing his own creations.
