Not sure why, but I wasn’t able to maintain my attention on this one. I could have been partly due to my frame of mind at the time, the fact I was driving during most of it, or the time travel just threw me. Still a great listen. Gary is really put to the test..
Gary continues to try his best at being a villain, and he might have gotten away with it too if weren’t for the fact he keeps killing bad guys and saving the world.

there is something about these characters that I can relate to and just can’t put these books down. I prefer the padiobooks which are read by Nathan Lowell but this reader does a fine job.
Yet again the narrator has bloom me away with his ability to personify Merciless! The Kafer is my favorite narrator, and has made each of these books fun. The narrative itself was good as always. I do feel like the characters spent a lot more time talking to eachother and in moments where they wouldn’t..

The characters in this book series are some of my favorites. Even after a few years, I still come back to this series. The adventure, the life relationships and activities are so real for me. The characters come to life in this book.
