Poorly written with excessive gratuitous violence suitable for immature males only. The narrator was so annoying with his drop in tone at the end of every phrase. It rambled on endlessly until I gave up in disgust. Not even proper science fiction.

If you like a predator or alien type story then you may enjoy this book It seemed to be well written. I only got an hour or two into the book and it seemed to be pretty well written…Some of the in-depth solider info did get old at the first but seemed to be getting..

I really loved listening to this book on audible. Had incredible Dark Tower undertones, and yet it stands on its own very well with its post apocalyptic western flare. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!
I liked the premise of the story. Time travel has been played a lot of ways, but this was a new one to me. Plenty of stuff in the story to keep it interesting, and I can comfortably recommend it.

Started out good. Really like first half but then it began to drag and be a bit confusing. I was planning on only giving it 2 stars but it came together in the end raising it to 3 stars (just my opinion, I could be wrong).

I listened to this book three (3) times before I wrote a review. I am still amazed at how much I enjoyed this book. I’ve never been a gamer, which is the central story line. I do like books that grab me and pull me along at a brisk pace, well fleshed out, really likable..

I liked the different concept in this book.. some parts were a little hard to follow but overall well done.
“The Greatest American Hero,” this isn’t. Rather than William Katt’s flying but-in-ski in red long-john’s, we have a cynical citizen who would line his pockets. I did enjoy the banter between the antihero and his cape, however, I would have preferred the cape having an accent, or something, to better understand who was saying what..
