Twisted plot with lots of action and the characters have depth too. I really enjoyed this book (even though I usually prefer sci-fi to fantasy). It is set in almost the real world with just enough magic, demons, vampires and other mythical beings and events to be believable.

I really enjoyed this story from start to finish, actually laughing out loud multiple times throughout! The characters were unique, the story different from what I’m used to, and the performance was excellent. I would definitely recommend this book to those who enjoy a good laugh! I really highly recommend this book. This is my first Rebecca Cantrell solo book. I already loved her Sanguine Series with James Rollins and this doesn’t disappoint either. Can’t wait to read more about Joe Tesla.
The author has clearly run out of ideas since the first part of the book is just spaceships exchanging blows and the second part is a carbon copy of quite a few movies, which lacked originality.
