Really enjoy the Ishmael Wang character. I miss hearing Nathan Lowell’s narration. Kafer is okay.
great story
Review from In Ashes Born →
this book was suspenseful emotional an humorous all wrapped into one amazing shadow master tale I hope there’s a fourth installment
Interesting premise about a possible future with sentient AIs. As always, Jeffrey Kafer delivers on the narration. Looking forward to the continuation of the series!
Are there chapters missing from the story? I spent half an hour trying to figure out if I somehow skipped ahead. I have no idea how the main storyline played out!
I really enjoyed the first half of this book. Robinson has set up a great premise. The characters were coming together nicely. Then the story took a left turn. It turned into this metaphysical mess. I don’t want to spoil it by going too deep into the reasons it was a mess. For those that..
I live Barker, and this reading was freaking great! the inflections from each narrator fit the story perfectly. I can’t recommend this audiobook enough!!
Well what can I say about this book. It’s opened up a whole new world for me. A lot of the mythical characters I have never heard of before. Really got my imagination going. They may not be new but they was new to me. There was a lot of old ones too. There is some..
I certainly liked the story but the “emotional tangents” that all the characters indulged in nonstop really got tiring. It was excessive and lent an element of unreality to some great action sequences. Too much of that stuff
Great book series, keep it up Jay Allen! but the only critical thing I dislike where the presentation of the “Others” little is revealed about them but it’s very Star trek Borg feeling without the good part of the Borg being a hivemind.
Story about a single mom who meets a rich doctor. Good story with lots of drama, funny banter and sex. Good narrators. #audiobookobsession
