Hard Kill

Review from Hard Kill →

Great!! Another super Jon Resnick thriller. I heartily endorse these J.B. Turner novels. They would make superb miniseries ala Bosch or J.P. Ryan.

Pretty Dry & Tedious

Review from The Elephant in the Brain →

I generally enjoy listening to books on behavior and brain processes but I found this one plodded along without firing up my interest.I made it all the way through, hoping it would improve or provide a profound tidbit, but I didn’t find it.

A ghost story… with monsters!

Enjoyed book two of this series, the one issue I have is the reader. We could do with a couple of people doing it, you seem to have the same accents with different people in the story.

This Sci-Fi thriller is complex and action packed, filled with twists and turns, supernatural elements, monsters, mystery and intrigue. Jeffrey Kafer did a great job with the narration. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook..

More Twists and Turns than a Goat’s Intestines

Review from Tether →

I have to tip my hat to Robinson and/or his audiobook publisher. In most audiobook covers, the narrator’s name is usually considerably smaller than the author’s. Here, however, they share equal billing and are touted as “The #1 Audible Bestselling Duo”. I love that the narrator, in this case, is getting respect and acknowledgment for..
