I loved this series and want to know what will happen next. I feel for the characters and don’t want to see my connection with them end. I’ve not been a fan of futuristic fantasy before this, but these stories didn’t feel like fantasy, more like real life and the same feelings and experiences anyone..

absolutely fantastic story with a great narrator at the helm. this will immediately get you hooked and want to bend the entire series.

The exploration of the Toe-Holds is a welcome expansion of a world a bit well-engineered. But I love that the author has managed to keep the characters true to themselves even as their eyes are opened to the larger reality of true Western Annex.

Great book— no villains, just people cooperating with each other. Learned a lot about how the merchant ships operate. I’ll be buying the sequel right away.

I was skeptical about listening to someone other than Nathan Lowell reading his work, after listening to the “…Share” series in podcast form. But it was very well produced, and other than different pronunciation of a few of the names of people and places, I applaud the narrator for his fine work.

I did not realize that this book was military sci-fi I had hoped for more of a police procedural. Military sci-fi bores me. It is all the same nonsense and leaves out most real science that (for some reason) I think should be in sci-fi.

I listened for about 4 hours. It started off well, and the writing style is engaging, but the story itself is boring. Nothing happens. He makes coffee. After a few hours, I came to the reviews to see if it gets more interesting; apparently, it doesn’t.

Decent action but just getting the same old story and retread. I’m done with a series won’t be ordering any more of this story
