Anti-Villain or Anti-Hero?

Review from The Rules of Supervillainy →

A fun supervillain/hero story. The world building is interesting and has vivid characters if a bit out there. I think that the main character has a bit too many girls who seem to want him, but good maybe for the male fantasy type. I do love that the main character keeps insisting he is a..

Jackson Destroys Space Opera

Review from Villains Deception →

After going with a terrible recommendation and letting myself slip back into a tedious YA series, I needed a book to lighten things up. So I thought that I’d check on The Shadowmaster and see what he had going on. If you’ve made it to book three then you are well aware of the type..

Fresh, Whitty, and Fun

Review from The Rules of Supervillainy →

I will probably sound like a total fanboy with this review, but I loved this book. C.T. Phipps takes a fresh approach to the MC, he has his own moral compass and when he does stupid things it is because he knows it is stupid but believes in doing it anyway. The book is also..

Fantastic!

Review from Esoterrorism →

Loved it from start to finish. The story and characters were brilliantly done. The serious tone was broken up with smart historical references and intelligent humor. I’ve been a fan of Jeffery Kafer for awhile. Once he narrates a book no other will do. Another great delivery. I received this audiobook at my request in..

Decent story but over-the-top narration

Review from Hard Road →

The story is good with a few unforeseen twists along the way. Main character is well developed and stays “within character”Throughout the book. The narrator seems to have adopted (at least for this book) a version of a “1930s hard-bitten gumshoe” voice which at first was funny, then became annoying, and finally dulled after a..

Disgusting Language!!

Review from Space Force →

I’ve read and listened to almost every Jeremy Robinson book he’s written, and I enjoyed most of them. But this one… Ugh. It’s like Robinson let out his inner prepubescent immaturity and filled the pages of this book with the garbage that spewed out. I’m very disappointed.

Annoyed!!!! Spoiler!!

Review from Villains Deception →

i don’t know why i listen to this book in series. i hate wasting good credit, your next book in the series better have something to do with you being a villain and not just ……… Rants… mind you i enjoy the rant but to damn much… filler much… the only redeeming quality of the..

Get sucked into a new world …

Review from Esoterrorism →

Had not heard of this series before. It reminded me of the Dresden Files with it’s magical/paranormal-ness but with more Spy vs Spy going on at the same time. I enjoyed the writing and the story very much. I will definitely check out the next book in the series.
