The first book in the Supervillainy Saga. Gary Karkofsky is pretty much a normal guy except that he’s the brother of a deceased supervillain, Stringray. When the magical cloak of a deceased superhero Nightwalker appears at his doorstep, Gary immediately takes the cloak and decides to become Merciless, the supervillain without mercy. The magical cloak..
The second book in the Supervillainy saga. Gary Karkofsky came Merciless, the supervillain without mercy, after he found the Cloak which belonged to a superhero before that hero died. Now, he and the Cloak are permanently bonded so, Gary can (and does almost all the time) mentally communicate with the Cloak. It also gives him..
The third book in the Supervillainy saga. The book starts about a year after the second in the series, The Games of Supervillainy. Gary Karkofsky also known as Merciless, the Supervillain without Mercy, is in a pickle: his wife was turned into a vampire and not the sexy kind either but a soulless monster. He’s..
For a Jeremy Robinson novel, this was not one of his better works. I am by no means any sort of critic, and he’ll, I couldn’t write a book with a gun to my head. But I was not entertained. I think a lot had to do with the voice of Jeffery Kafer though. Listening to..
There isn’t a hero in this book. Everyone is the bad guy and really unlikable. Writing was mediocre. Felt like it was written by an angry teenager who likes to play first person shooter games.
From beginning to end, this has been an exciting and enjoyable story. The audible presentation was performed with believable empathy for the story.
I am a huge fan of Jeremy Robinson, but for some reason this story just didn’t resonate with me. For me the story sort of strolled along without giving me those intense moments of action, or anticipation, that I have come to expect of Jeremy Robinson tales. Jeremy Kafer does a great job of narration..
a great insight into the human mind and motives. it can change the way you look at others but especially yourself.
