Holy crap! What a horrible book! The “hero” was a complete psychopath. I mean, I know he was an assassin but when he killed the German tourist and then laughed when he got into the drivers seat of the guy’s motor home I was absolutely done, at 87%. I couldn’t even stomach finishing the book…
I bought it wanting a giant monster story and it delivered. They even managed to deliver a nice ending but leave it open for a sequel. The opening of the story, however, is pretty rough. Try to imagine Sam Spade as an Australian marine biologist. I kept on expecting him to refer one of the..
Good story, but its too short for the cost of narration. Maybe just read the book on kindle and save some money!
It’s a good story and I liked it. Lots of action, but… It’s a shorter story and not worth the price for the audible version.
This is a good end of the “Books of blood” series. Not perfect, bet better then 3,4 and 5. Narration is as always well done. Nothing to complain about.
i thought it was an interesting story. i did take my time and listened to it, because i never fell in love with needing to know right now what was going to happen next. i am though interested to try the next one in the series.
Happened across this while in a hurry to grab a book and go, and it ends up being really enjoyable! Great character development, and Jeffrey Kafer’s narration was right on. looking forward to the rest of the series!
