I’ve been listening to the series. got hooked with Book one. Excellent “yarn” and excellent narration from Luke Daniels. Then started book 2, no Daniels, performance wasn’t near as good, and considerably slower tempo. not good. the story also started to get repetitious, with numerous, repeats on how “they were the best , ” always..

Good story. Kept me engrossed until the flat ending. Not sure if I will read another effort by the author. Narrator’s Aussie accent was not consistent for the protagonist. Rather drab narration.
