I realize the main character is a warrior poet but the hyperbole is just a bit much at times. I love the humor injected by his sister Addy. the story got interesting with the new behavior from the aliens. I’m going to put this series down for a bit.

the narration is spot on. the language is salty so not for delicate little ears. lots of great humor if you enjoy sarcasm, and breaking the fourth wall. have some fun on an adventure from the villainous perspective.

Characters in the book are totally illogical, stupid and incompetent. Entire story plot is also illogical. On one hand entire human armies(millions of soldiers with starships) were unable to defeat enemies.
