After hearing the original podcast read by the author, it is a bit disheartening the trend did not continue. Lowell brought a depth to Ishmael Wang that is sorely lacking without his narration. I’ve listened to the whole series and it doesn’t disappoint. Nathan Lowell actually becomes a better writer as the series go. He doesn’t try to do too much with various tricks of the ‘writing’ trade. This makes it easy to listen to.
