Great story and slightly different from the movie. Books are always better, especially Clive Barker books.

More in the musing style of Heinlein than the action / event driven modern vogue, Nathan Lowell’s Solar Clipper series starts slow and lets you get to know the characters and setting naturally. Wonderfully engaging, one of the few series I revisit every few years.

This story is a must for the true geeks out there. This delightful lampooning of all things fantasy will have you giggling, chuckling, guffawing, and outright laughing hysterically. The story was to good to put down. I look forward to what happens to the main character next.

if you loved Starship Troopers you’ll probably like this one. A bit too cheesy for my taste.

He brings a possible future to life in a way that I hope my great grandchildren will get to see.

This series is great, there is not really much I can say as a negative… I really look forward to the next, especially with Mr Kafer as the narrator!

I am very happy to finally listen to this this can be the beginning of a new series.

A master storyteller, Robinson does not disappoint here. The perfection is in his merging of simultaneous events – in the line made famous on the old TV show, The A-Team, “I love it when a plan comes together!”

the narrator of the story got better with each book. the overall story was engaging and entertaining.
