Painfully honest

I have seldom been as disappointed in a book that I purchased based on multiple recommendations. I can get my credit back but the 10.5 hours I spent listening are not recoverable. While the authors make many good points we already know them based on common sense. There is no new ground plowed here. Don’t..
I never got past chapter 3. The female narrator is awful. She sounded like it was her first time narrating and she epically failed. I have no idea if the book is any good since I didn’t make it past chapter 3, going to try and read it instead.
I’ve listened to the whole series and just find them completely enjoyable. Not everything needs to be death and destruction. This series creates believable storylines and is just fun to listen to.
It wasn’t as boring as watching grass grow, but I just kept waiting for something; anything to happen.
The excellent series continues. Fun and entertaining. Mitchell continues to develop and reminds me of Captain Kirk.

The narrator ruins this book I think. Boooo!!I might try reading the actual book verses the audible one.
This whole book feels like it was written by an AI. none of the characters are written well, the author forces his political beliefs into the story… again… and my god has the author never interacted with a child, none of them are that insightful or intelligent.
