If Book 1 is any indication, the writing in this series is a big step up from the Rebellion series. This narrator is also an improvement.
This story is pleasant as it moves along unveiling the world of space merchant marine life. There are mild highs and lows with no real adrenaline or cliff hangers. The characters act believably given the setup, even if the fact that our main character of rudimentary intelligence is apparently the smartest being ever to grace..

One of the funniest books I have ever read! Good story line but the characters and their banter make it what it is. If you enjoy gaming and Deadpool take a listen to this one
The lack of character development leaves each character practically interchangeable and indiscernible from the next, making it difficult to follow along whose who, and what’s what. The overall story was intriguing and exciting.
I just wish these books were longer. 8 hours is a bit short for the price. I found myself getting lost in the action over and over. Take more time to tell the story, don’t leave your readers lost.
