I really enjoyed listening to this book. The author’s descriptions pulled me right in and made me feel like I was there. The narrator did a great job. Her tone and volume changed a little from chapter to chapter but it was easy to fall right back in. Loved her Southern accent.

The storyline is kinda uncomfortable for me. Just not interested in grown men being with literal children but besides that.. the end of this book is completely rushed. It’s very obvious. Also some of the details do not line up at the end because of it being rushed.

This book twisted my emotions in so many ways and I lost a lot of sleep and productive time finishing it. It is difficult to judge Kellum completely on one side or other of the right/wrong line. I do hate the Brenda character though she is the perfect antagonist. I hope to find more stories..
