Such an amazing story set to WWII backdrop. A different aspect from the inside of Germany. I had never heard of this part of war and was captivated by the story. The narration of the characters brings the story to life.

I kept hoping the story would move somewhere redemptive, and maybe it did. I agree there should be a warning label for anyone who has experienced any sort of molestation trauma, themselves or others. I could take the emotional relationship development between the very underaged girl and the male character who had also experienced abuse….
