This book is gut wrenching, heartbreaking, and will make you question so much. It is so beautifully written it pulls you into this sad world of wanting to rescue these forgotten characters and rooting for them even though…I don’t know, is it wrong? It was breathtaking, every moment.

I couldn’t stop listening to it. It is excellent, and I appreciate the narrators.

While it was a well written story, with full characters, the story line was hard for me to handle- and I can handle a lot. I would have been upset if I used a credit on it, I wish the premise of the story was different because I did think the author did a good..

I’m trying to finish this but the lead is awful and her two side kick puppy “DEAMONS” wow how many times to try and describe the same thing in the same way it kills me in everything

Another review mentions sex with a minor. Yes, there are a few scenes with a sexual experience but not intercourse with a minor… definitely would not fly in present day. However this story takes place in the past and in a rural Midwest town and without giving away too much info it wasn’t a violent..

It was a great story. I was wanting the best for the characters. the woman that read it did a great job.

This was a wonderful source of information; and the author did a superb job blending history and fiction into a masterpiece. Narration was very well done as well. I highly recommend this book.
