Being born into dysfunction and clawing your way to finding something, someone, a place in the world that gives you hope and love is a unicorn. This story is just that.
I feel this started slow and was a challenge at first, but I really do feel it was worth sticking with. The characters have so much more depth than I expected at the start. The ending was not a surprise or got you. Anyone with any small inkling of sense will assume it’s close by..
This one was a little different than the last two, but I liked it. The first was by far the best but I still couldn’t stop listening to all of them. The narrator was PERFECT for Deanna. I really hope there is a 4th!
I frankly don’t remember how this book ended up on my wish list, but I’m so glad it did. I enjoyed the narrators and didn’t think the early progression was slow. As a respiratory therapist, I spent 2020-2022 immersed in the world of COVID and, subsequently, listening to everyone’s gripes about masks, vaccinations, life, etc.,..
I truly appreciate a different type of story and this one is! Beautifully written . The narrator was excellent!
Wow this story is heartbreaking dysfunctional and heart warming. Rooting for this love story seemed wrong but was right.
What a great story! It makes me remember dreams from my youth and the wanderlust that we have trying to figure out who we are! I will take these characters with me, as I travel further down my road!
hard to follow in the first half of the book. really not worth the credit. I thought this was going to be a very deep thought provoking book. nope.
