The storyline was incredibly uncomfortable to read, yet somehow the author managed to have you feel sympathy for the taboo relationship. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

It was odd but it was good. I wont reread but Im glad I listened to it once

A clear reflexión of what police work is (I hope) like. Refreshing in its day to day real life conflicts.

chapter 8 is a little odd like if that happened to me I wouldn’t even let that happen but other from that it is a good book

it makes you feel all the feels. it makes you uncomfortable. then you remember why her family became what it was. how that wasn’t about something she chose and you see how she finds beauty after so much pain

Maybe there were too many moving parts for me to absorb while moving through my daily life. For me this seems to be a book to devote complete attention to while reading. To be fair I think I may need to “read” it again.
