Just a good listen. I enjoyed meeting these characters. And the fact that it stretches your mind to see the Yin and Yang in every situation
I managed to listen to the entire book, despite almost giving up multiple times. The only reason this book stirs up any feelings at all is because of the inappropriate and controversial love affair between a grown man and a child. But the book itself is very boring and extremely slow moving….and nothing really ever..
This book is so good, it started off slow, but it turned out amazing. I loved hearing all of the points of view and how the author told the story! I love the character development.
I loved this story, though I must admit, not quite as much as it’s predecessor, “Eversea.” Kari Ann’s fierce independence & stubbornness is understandable in the first book; however, I did tire of it in the second book. Just read that other review and Completely love everything they disliked! Love Jack and Kari Ann, that slow southern draw is romantic and sweet! Absolutely loved the book! Didn’t venture where it would go but just loved that Jack fought for Kari Ann and took the time to win her back! Narrators were awesome!
Story was a bit repetitive although very interesting. I liked most of her characters The narration was great!!
It is a well written performance with too many disturbing issues in the book. Wavy was abused, raped and taken advantage of as a child…
