I love the characters especially Wavy. Very well done. Would highly recommend if you want something that is going to hold your attention.
The story was mesmerizing, and the narration was truly fantastic. I was captivated by this audiobook!
Unexpected characters, great reading & differentiating of character voices. I still hear Kellen saying “Wavy” in my mind often
Where do I even begin? I was interested in reading about the life of a child growing up within a dysfunctional family plagued by drugs, neglect, abuse and seeing the many consequences of such an upbringing. What is ugly to those on the outside of this dysfunction could be beautiful to someone on the inside-..
This book was extremely tough to swallow, not only for its content but also for requiring so much attention from the reader. There are many characters to keep track of, and the narration shifts..
How is child abuse a book that is even allowed on audible? I advocate this child rape story be taken down immediately. Normalizing sex with a child and a 30 + year old man who’s been grooming them is unacceptable. A child predator might be listening to this & taking notes…taking this book down might..
Dragged a little toward the end. Overall very good. I loved the characters. Lots of mixed emotions during listening.
It turned out to have a happy ending, but I almost stopped listening to this book. The underage sexual stuff was hard to listen to and I fast forwarded through it.
