It was kind of boring in the beginning but the middle and the end were really good!

The story was truly brought to life in this audiobook. I cannot say enough good things about it!! The story is captivating, and the multiple perspectives enacted brings life to the text!

I recommend ppl listen at the 1.1x speed. If you don’t the narrator may drive you nuts. Or not. I loved the story. It was full of adventure and intrigue. And the characters were enjoyable to follow. I recommend the book.

Although I definitely think there should be some trigger warnings at the beginning of this, I couldn’t stop listening. Heart wrenching.

I loved this audio book. Each character was full and richly unique. The history was presented well.

There were a lot of tough topics and cringe worthy moments. I am glad I didn’t stop listening and finished the book. Definitely a dark read but very memorable and a page turner.

I was hesitant after reading reviews, even when I started, I considered stopping soooooo many times for fear that the book was headed in a sci fi angle. But I was hooked & had to keep listening… soooooo glad I did! What an incredible journey!

I really liked this book, but the narration of the male voices got on my nerves – especially Gabe’s, All that said, this was a heartwarming story with great characters.
