Good read but not this author’s best work. I felt as though I was constantly waiting for something to happen that just never did. I also disliked the voices of Heidi and Chris. It was hard for me to connect because the voices felt pretentious.

First, the narrator did a fantastic job. Some audio book narrators bore me or grate on my nerves. This one made me not want to stop listening. I finished it but man it was uncomfortable. The content was disturbing, but it was free and I am out of credits otherwise don’t think I would’ve finished it.

The sorry kept you on the edge of your seat and involved multiple different perspectives on the same story. It was a good listen and definitely covered a different perspective than most of the war as well as touching on historical topics.

FYI: lots foul language and seems throughout. Was hoping the exploitive would stop, but so distracting. Could not continue listening.
