The person who read this book for Audible had a weird pronunciation for several words that was grating to hear. Storyline was great….I will see out more titles from this writer.

But the story was pretty good. I just don’t need that many cringy details!! And f bombs always detract.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I was surprised that my favorite part was the romance, because I bought it seeking a thriller/dystopian story. There’s plenty of that as well, but it’s highly entertaining. I also enjoyed reading a novel with strong and complex female characters.
