Really enjoyed this. The story and the narrator were both what I was looking for. Can’t wait to listen to the second book!

If you want to read poetry, this book is for you. Death on infancy home then, foster care. The audio is really horrible.

Excellent listen, intelligently complicated, emotional and believable. chapter 14 hit home hard with me. I will be reading every book that this author has written. Julia Whalen is always top notch she absolutely is one of my favorites but there are so many many including her Co narrator in this book.

The subject matter was too heavy for my preference but there were areas that I liked but did a lot of fast forwarding.

This book tugs on your heart strings to make you think that what is happening between Wavy and the much older man she is in love with because he “loves and cares for her” is romantic and normal, but then you remember that he met Wavy when she was a little girl. She is only..

The story line was good something different for me. she was a mess or the on!y parts you seen was her being a mess. if she was the town sweetheart she should have more depth to her.

This is a great book with great plot it makes you see that it’s not always as easy as black and white and those things in the gray must be considered too.

A wonderful story filled with rich characters! Did not expect it to be so enticing. Reader was also excellent.. I lost a night of sleep because I couldn’t stop listening.
