Wow. As a mom of 2 daughters I don’t even know how to feel. I loved the book….as controversial as it was…The narrator was out of this world on her different voices. I could feel every emotion in this story…love, heartbreak, hate, being scared and alone, indifference…u name it this book hapd it ALL..I’m off..
Contains extremely triggering material and a theme of pedophilia all throughout. I started the book thinking the story line would develop on a different direction but it just gets more and more unhinged and disgusting.
I love a book that changes the way I think about certain topics and that helps to deepen my compassion in place of passing judgement.
I followed this story when it happened, and I still can’t get over what these women went through. I am inspired and heartbroken for them and what I’m sure they still deal with daily. So glad they are free to live life now!
I loved it. It was a cute innocent love story between the two characters it was great remembering such innocent love.

It was a slow start. If you make to the part about their trip to Kentucky, the story picks up and get MUCH better in my opinion.
I was really excited when I first started listening. I wish the story stayed with it’s present tense longer instead of jumping ahead in time so quickly. There was still more story to tell. The ending was a little bit of a nice surprise.
