A mistress never gets the best parts of a man. When she is faced with the need to move onto a different life it’s so nice that she finds a place where she fits in just right!!

This book was recommended by a librarian and based on some online reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I’m glad I listened to the recommendation. This book is excellent, a must read.

An incredible novel that will bring tears to your eyes and thoughts to your mind.

Would not recommend to those weak of heart. This is a captivating whirlwind of dark, uneasy & raw hardships. I admire the author for never softening the plot and keeping it a tragic love story. I’m eager to read more of his stories.
