It was a slow start. If you make to the part about their trip to Kentucky, the story picks up and get MUCH better in my opinion.

I was really excited when I first started listening. I wish the story stayed with it’s present tense longer instead of jumping ahead in time so quickly. There was still more story to tell. The ending was a little bit of a nice surprise.

on multiple occasions I have tried to listen to this story. It’s a bit all over the place 2/ 10 recommend. The main character is flat and I felt no real connection to any of the characters.

Such a memorable, lovely story. I wanted it to go on. Excellent narrator. Highly recommend.

I found this book to be incredibly normalizing of non-traditional relationships, gender identity, and sexual expression. If you’re questioning your identity I highly recommend this listen.

Very interesting read about freedom in sex, relationship and sexuality. A very liberating book to read.
