I loved this storyline and do not see the Lolita analogy. This was a bad scenario that was turned into the best possible outcome. I loved the storyline and the writing – put me right into the scene.

Save yourself the time. Disgusting, fuck this book. Not redeeming in any way. Raping a minor is never ok, it doesn’t matter if her parents are worse and it doesn’t matter how mature she is.

I loved the story. It was the perfect amount of supernatural. My only complaint the narrator was very nasal and it drove me nuts.

Fun and entertaining story. I loved following Crow on her adventures of discovery. Overall loved it.

Character reactions to events, like seeing a boy noosed and dragged by a car or shooting a man, are completely unrealistic. I think I rolled my eyes twelve times in chapters 23-25.

I enjoyed the mystery of this one, but found the body count a little high. I also didn’t find the ending as satisfying as I’d hoped. Will check out the next one, though. Always love Diesel.
