You spend the first half of the book shocked by all that’s going on and the 2nd half actually rooting for Wavy and Kellon.

I thought the writing in this book was above average and Jorgeana Marie was a fantastic narrator. She is especially adept at doing all of the different voices in the book very well, including the men which some narrators fail at. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it highly.

I am a fan of the cat in the stacks mysteries. This spin off series is fun. These senior ladies are a hoot. Will listen another one of these.

This is the best booked I’ve listened to in a while. I was invested the entire time. I got through it very quickly. I am glad I didn’t pay attention to the negative reviews. This is very different than any book I’ve ever read.

I know there is controversy about this book but it is written so beautifully and had me in all of my emotions. I was extremely disturbed and uncomfortable with some parts but it’s not a good book to me if it doesn’t make me feel something. The performance is fantastic and the characters are great.

A very moving, painful yet beautiful story. I couldn’t wait to get back in my car to listen. The readers voice was very good, did the voices of the characters well and made them distinctive.
