I really enjoyed this book. Every emotion was put to use. Love, hate, sad, happy.
Great & exciting read.

Intriguing story with a lot of surprising plot twists. Reader be warned – a lot of violence against women, which was difficult to hear at times
Listening to this book is like watching a train wreck…. Heartbreaking and uncomfortable, but I couldn’t stop listening. If you read the reviews, you’ll already know there’s some huge trigger warnings for grooming/child sexualization, however if you finish it, you’ll see it’s definitely more complex than that. At times this book made me sick and..
So let’s start with the over story, it was captivating, sexy and very disturbing all in one. When I read a review that it was Dexter meets a love story, they couldn’t have been more on point! The romance/ sex: 4 out 5 stars, the overall story line: 4 out of 5, and the book..
Loved the narration. This was really a fitting title for the story. Might be a hard listen for some but it’s really a book about how brutal life is.
I loved this tale so much I am actually taking time to write a review versus just submitting stars. Great life lessons as you listen. I cried so hard towards the end for the missed opportunities of 1 character’s unforgiveness. The story does end on a happy note in the end. Very very good.
Wavy, the kid of teen methheads is a mute, magnetic force even at 6, preferring to eat out of trash cans and break into homes with her normal but curious cousin. The author is good at changing the diction to really sound like troubles children or stern fathers or worrying grandmas, POVs switching most chs…
Gross. I get it, He all in all was a good guy and he was her savior, but still yuck. I kept waiting to feel redeamed where she, the victim, understood that she was victimized. He should have taken on big brother role instead of creeper. Then author demonized the aunt who was the only..
Not quite the last book I had hoped for. I actually struggled to get through it whereas I tore through all the rest. I’m disappointed, I don’t want to put any spoilers but it was a little “too YA” for me. Bordering on boring if you get what I’m saying.
