I enjoyed this book. Well developed characters. interesting and compelling story. Believably tragic in many ways. Survivors of childhood SA may not care for this book.

Greenwood allows the storyline to be heard through the voices of its characters, each of whom is unique and human (i.e. flawed). On the face, the story may appear implausible, but it works. Highly recommend.

What a ridiculous setup. Southern women – trust me on this – can say no. The idea of letting all these unpleasant people move into the house and then they have to solve a murder just doesn’t work. Although I read lots of mixed reviews on this book before reading it, I personally loved it. Yes, there were definitely some alarming parts but I overall enjoyed the book.

I am so impressed with this book it was heartfelt and genuine is genuine surprising. I look forward to more works by Bryn.
