The production sounds beautiful and it’s a heartwarming story of found family with a heartbreaking story of illness and loss at it’s foundation.
I give this 5 stars based on the fact that the book did exactly what the writer intended, which is shock and disturb and spark controversy….but omg I am emotionally drained after finishing it. It was like a lifetime movie in the WORST WAY! But I guess I got exactly what I asked for🙄

I truly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The author created a fresh approach to many common themes. Her delivery made it seem new and alive. The pace was perfect. Never felt slow or monotonous. I will remember this one for a long time.

Love this narrator. And the author. The story is complicated but very interesting and keeps you listening. One of those can’t stop books!
