Listened and had so many feelings and thoughts. What a story! Definitely one to check out.

I absolutely loved this story. My favorite audible book this year. I hope listeners will give this novel a chance. It is not for anyone who can’t tolerate some rough language and difficult subject matter. It is an amazing story of love and endurance.

This book was extremely well written. I was captivated by the story immediately and the writer had a great way of pulling you in to see things from the characters perspective. The fact that an 8 yr old girl and 26 year old man had this romantic attraction towards one another did make me uneasy..

I listened as a reader, educator, student, mother, and author. I loved the dialogue, the differing perspectives and well written point of view of each youth. Congratulations Jennifer Niven

This book.. gah. It destroyed me. It truly was ugly and wonderful all at once. The journey Wavy endured, and Kellen, too .. it broke me. This is my second round reading it, and it was even more beautiful the second time around. I truly love it. All the way.

Very long and drawn out. Didn’t like the narrator. This could have been written with half the chapters and nothing would have been missed.
