I just couldn’t get past the horrible narration. It was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

This was brutal. I’m going to admit that I had a lot of reservations about this book, because of the sensitive subject matter. But I pushed through those preconceived judgements and absolutely fell in love. It’s been a long time since I’ve cried while reading a novel, but this one did me in!

so disgusting. I’m grossed out that I read it. this book tries to normalize pedophilia.

This felt very juvenile, something a younger person would enjoy or could even possibly relate to. However, for me it was lack luster and very annoying in some parts. I just didn’t care for the main character at all.
