I thought this would be a knock down, drag out story. So glad I got part two. It’s Romeo aand Juliet, Cinderella and blazing heat, twisted around entertainment drama.
Enchantingly

I work in child welfare and was very disturbed by this book. It’s a great example of how a grown man can find an abused child and prey on her. Kellen grooms the child from 8 years old and raises her to become his lover. Other reviewer say we should have an open mind, not..
Loved this book! I haven’t read a better one for a very long time. The story and the narrator were great.
The beginning was dull and long i’m not going to lie it took me a while to continue this book I started and then stopped. But then it got so good and I couldn’t stop listening. I don’t know if I should be upset because of the age difference but I’m happy about the outcome..
Interesting, realistic, heartfelt, romantic, sad, and the ending had closure. I don’t know how this book was free, I couldn’t stop listening until it was done.
I couldn’t get past the first chapter. The stereotypic characters and predictable plot lacked depth.
The book is a little triggering for the whole “living in a pandemic” trauma but not horribly so. It was well written and easy listening with at least one “gasp out loud in my car by myself” moment.
I really loved it but in all honesty it made me kinda sad that I don’t have friends like that or a fancy back yard with a forest :’)
