It had its slow moments but very edge-of-the-seat novel. Big plus for me, no bad language

Absolutely amazing. Everyone needs to read/listen to this story. So many topics tackled gracefully and tastefully and honestly. The characters we relatable. They portrayal of a small Midwest town is very accurately portrayed. This book will stick with me for a long time.
I loved this book. The characters were so real and even though I thought it would be a predictable ending I was still very pleasantly surprised at how things turned out. This was a wonderful escape.
If you just sit and listen or read this book, just with a capable mind judgments aside, it’s the most beautiful book. One of my favorites
As I listened to this book, I couldn’t help but think of the recent world pandemic. The characters and situations could have been ours. It held me captive and I couldn’t put it down. I would highly recommend this book either via audio book or hard back.
If you like dystopian fiction with a twist… this is great. I love men, so I understood the fear of losing them. If you hate men… well you might like this too!
I wasn’t sure what I would think, and started this book with some trepidation. it sucked me in right away, and kept me there.
The first 6 chapters were great but dropped in quality from chapter 35 on. Jackie and some of the other characters came across as generic and unlikable.
