Stayed up until after 1 in the morning becauseI could not stop listening to this book. It has many twists and turn that keep you on the edge of your seat. The narrator did a great job. I will be reading more from this author.

What a horrible thing to frame as acceptable….. a 13 year old having sexual contact with a 26 year old…… just no. We need to stop sexualizing children

Loved this story. The writer has a very visual way of writing. I recommend this book.

it’s a love story, coming of age tale, growing up with abusive and poverty but being blessed with a guardian, and eventually a lover. I’m not a romance book type person but this one made me cry made me mad made me feel. great book. really good narration as well.
