I’m struggling with this story…I’m morally torn. She was just a child, I feel like the abuse made her vulnerable
The reader did an amazing job made me want to keep listening until it got to the part that makes this seem like a predator or pedophilia is ok. I’m disgusted. Audible needs to have warnings on their books, so people can know what they’re about to listen to.
DNF. Made me feel so sick I couldn’t even finish it. Pedophilia being romanticized. Wish I would have read the reviews
Sorry but you couldn’t make this child older? I cannot get past the fact that she’s ELEVEN when she says this TWENTY FOUR year old is her boyfriend. Ick!! Could not finish. It made me feel, in her words, dirty. Do not recommend. Blegh The characters were well written, but no, just no.
Not very well thought out. She had the 2 strangers sipping out of each other’s cups the second time they met.
Good story and narration! Took a little while to get into it but it really picked up momentum. Enjoyed the characters.
I was obsessed with this book!! I couldn’t stop listening! It grabbed me almost from the start. The story wasn’t just good but the narrators too. So so good!
This is a good series but there is a lot of repetition from book to book. It feels like some parts of the text was copy and pasted or AI generated.
This is a long story that I felt obligated to finish. The chapters are extremely long, and prevented me from following my “5 chapter rule” to read the first five chapters before deciding if I enjoy the book. Once I finished the first chapter, I continued listening, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it.
