I loved this book. The writing was fantastic, and I think it captured the relationship between Wavy and Kellen and everyone in between so well. I understand the subject matter is/can be seen as problematic. But it also goes to show that not everything is black and white like the aunt in the book likes..

A very heart warming and heart wrenching story. Great listen, I could not stop listening.

I don’t think I could’ve rooted for the main characters so much. Even with the age difference between them, it made my heart both hurt and want for them both. I can listen to this again and again.

Great message. Awesome characters. Am using it in my classroom with freshmen. Wish there was less swearing, but the kids will find it authentic. Loved it all!

The book was captivating because it was unnerving. The writer trying to make you like the pedophile. An 8 year old and a 24 year old.

It’s a good story. She has a lot, I mean a lot of different plots going at once which is a little distracting but it reads well and over all is a great story. I enjoyed the ending. If you’re looking for an easy read, curl up with a book (listen) story, I’d recommend this..
