1. The narrator is good about 50% of the time. Then there’s weird periods where she is so nasal it sounds like she read it through a head cold. Then there’s moments where she reads in a weird accent for no reason and then just stops?2. This book was decent – good listen. Definitely waiting..

The whiney ass girl in this book almost made me puke. And…. The narrator made it worse.

I could not stop listening! This book will capture at the start and hold your attention til the last line. Absolutely wonderful writing and an exemplary performance by the narrator!!!

Very informative book. Enjoyed the exposition and layout of the characters, and the method used by the author to string their individual stories together. And, learned about maritime history of which I was unaware. A good listen.

Very well written story, deep characters. The age of the girl is disturbing for a romantic and sexual story. This is the only aspect I did not like. The end is rushed.

I loved this story! I agree with a review I just read- that it deserves more than five stars!

THE MOON BY NIGHT is much less a timeless story than MEET THE AUSTINS. Preachy and filled with misogyny, I don’t recommend.

This is the first book I have ever reviewed, and I’m glad I have the chance to do so. I actually cried at the end, it touched me that much. It is raw, edgy, uncomfortable; and out of the 100 or so audiobooks I’ve listened to, it’s by far the best.

It’s hard to stop at the end of each chapter. This book will keep wanting you more until the end. Highly recommend.
