An amazing book. So we’ll done that I could not stop listening to it. Can’t remember the last time a book affected me this way. I loved or hated the characters but felt for them all and so rooted for the most damaged ones. Just awesome.

I had no idea what this book was about going into it and was completely horrified and disgusted that this book is even offered on this platform. This book completely glorifies and romanticizes child sexual abuse and grooming. I’m confused why there are so many high ratings in the reviews.

This is a coming of age story for both main characters. There is some major brokenness and the beauty of finding a home, a safe place, and how that home can grow with you. The single narrator was excellent at pulling out all of the characters. The story is amazing. I would recommend this one..

It requires the reader/listener to be willing to be taken to some uncomfortable places, endure some graphical but necessary language, and puritanical types should just scroll past instead of virtue signaling their moral superiority.
