This is a great story even though there is uncomfortable topics. I rooted for Callan even though it is against my values. Great book to show a different side! I understood Wavy and why she loved him. They were a family against all odds! I couldn’t stop listening and finish very quickly.

So well told and narrated. An excellent story exploring love across an age gap and good intentions and how things might harm or not harm in different ways than expected. Dear readers, if you have any decency you should pass on this book. I can’t can’t can’t believe anyone would think it’s okay to write a story where pedophilia blossoms into a tender love story. Child abuse and sex with a thirteen year old? What is wrong with you Bryan Greenwood? What a disgusting pervert.

I should have looked more into the reviews. Glorifying pedophilia..?? WTF. This should be removed because it is NOT ok. Once I pieced together where this was going I stopped listening. I am ALL set.
