This book glorifies the power imbalance of childhood sexual abuse. The reader is left feeling satisfied with a happy ever after that is so dangerous to promote.
This story is equally disturbing and heartbreaking along with uplifting. Where does right and wrong meet? I would highly recommend this book, you don’t know whether to be incensed or inspired.

I can’t finish this book . It’s disturbing to listen to a grown man falling foe a child in 3rd grade. Even if the story ends with them falling and getting together when she’s older it’s still nasty. He watched her grow up. I just can finish it.
