Love it so much and I couldn’t believe it in the end that the gide and a other girl were going to hurt nacey! But it was a good idea of Carolyn Keene to add that twisted and I love how Jorjeana Marie made it seem so real and alive ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was a very well written story. It had me hooked even when I didn’t really want to continue listening. I didn’t read the synopsis when I went in and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t! There were touchy areas that made me want to back out but in the end it all came together and..
There is nothing romantic about an adult man grooming a child, no matter how he is portrayed. I only kept reading because I assumed everyone would come to their senses and protect the victim. This book is just gross. Narrator is fantastic. I’m just sorry she has to read this garbage.
I tried. I really did, but I REALLY struggled to finish this book. I go through the Audible free catalog every so often and add books to my library based solely on their star rating and book cover. I have always enjoyed going in to a book blind. That’s how I ended up with this..

This book had so much potential. Young man befriends child who needs help. It could have been beautiful. But it turned into a disturbing love story between a child and an adult. I’m not sure who can read this and think this is a “good” story.
Straight from the jump! From the narration to the story, this book kept me in! I have a hard time with staying into books once I start them unless they are good and this book was it. A raw look into a tragically beautiful story. Good listen.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! It held my interested and had some good twists. I was afraid it would read as YA due to the main characters age, but it didn’t. It was well written and the plot was thoughtful. An enjoyable listen with an unexpected ending!

The audible exclusives were a disappointment, this one being the worst. I could get over Mattie becoming a “pick me” girl, but the 10+ plugs for Amazon within the story were too much.
