It felt like it took forever to get through this book. There were several places where it really dragged, and it was difficult to push through. It was depressing and difficult to read the main character getting knocked down over and over and over again and never catching a break.

Entertaining coming-of-age story that reminded me of To Kill A Mockingbird. Interesting & colorful characters & great narration.

It tries to normalize the sexual and romantic relationship of a literal child and an adult man. I couldn’t finish the book, it was too disturbing. I can’t believe they’re trying to market this as a star crossed lovers type of story!
